This virtual workshop-based 10-week class will focus on the basics of theatrical acting and improvisation. All ages are welcome to enroll, and no experience is needed. Students will learn and engage with their fellow Muslim thespians in a virtual environment through 10 classes, concluding in their virtual performance of unique group scenes and monologues.
This virtual workshop-based 10 week class will focus on the basics of scriptwriting plays and monologues. All ages are welcome to enroll, and no previous writing experience is necessary. Students should expect to write, read, and artistically analyze theatrical scenes by the end of the course.
Classes start Saturday, January 17th (acting class) and Sunday January 18th (scriptwriting class) in 2026. Both are 10 week courses, and will meet once a week, virtually. Both classes are expected to conclude on April 2nd and April 3rd, respectively.
Enrollment is $10 per person, however free enrollment can be offered for low-income individuals.
